I’m Kiersten Murnane.  I currently call Atlanta, Georgia home, but having lived in Europe and South America, I have an endless curiosity about exploring the world.  I search for distinctive experiences that help me fully appreciate a particular place.

This blog is a hub for travel wanderlust.  I want to share with you the gems I’ve found that make for memorable travel experiences.  I seek to counter the over-crowded tourist destinations and the ultra-sanitized luxury experiences,  Rather than just offer a list of “must dos” for a destination, I’m interested in the next layer:  The art exhibit that is notable and why; the recipe from a local restaurant that tells the story of a region’s cuisine; the history of religion that helps offer perspective on a people’s values.  I want to share with you a constant flow of ideas about where to go, what to seek out and the most interesting places and happenings in travel now.
